eVerification
eVerification significantly cuts costs associated with direct integration of standalone systems of verifications or sources. This feature eliminates data entry keystrokes, increases data accuracy, and reduces verification processing time.
Upon the submission of a completed eApp, the module automatically triggers primary source verification with integrated standalone systems of verification and approved verification sources (i.e. license, CDS, DEA, NPDB, OIG, etc.) as set specifically in the credentialing program rules in My Workflow. Essentially, the module automates verifications behind-the-scenes.
Verifications are classified based on data that also makes the verification identifiable. Using specific process rules and Optical Character Recognition (OCR), which reads strips of information off the document, eVerification locates, extracts, and validates the desired information. For instance, the expiration date of a license number is recognized by selecting the appropriate text which avoids errors and ensures accuracy (i.e. the letter O is not mistaken for the number 0 and vice versa). Critical information is extracted from the verification which reduces time and effort required to capture the verification while populating the data to CredLink with more efficiency and accuracy. My Workflow also prompts users to review discrepancies found in the verification (i.e. actual date of expiration vs. information entered by the applicant).
